Comforting Style
As an extended stay hotel, the brief from Marriott International was to design a restful 'home away from home'. The interiors team at Franklin Ellis Architects opted for a mix of warm and contemporary styling with natural tones. The hotel offers 92 long-stay suites, each finished with Amtico's Spacia LVT and high-performance Acoustic backing layer to provide the ultimate comfort for guests. Acoustics can have a significant impact on a person's stay, particularly in multi-floor hotels with the high-performance backing layer minimising disruption and facilitating sound sleep.

The studios and lounge areas feature Amtico Spacia in Honey Oak, chosen for its golden hues and realistic oak grain, adding to the relaxing feel of the interior design. Installed by flooring specialists UKS Group, the LVT balances durability, easy maintenance and stylish aesthetics, providing a stunning finish that is resistant to everyday marks, scuffs or stains – especially important in the hotel environment.
